MyQT Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what MyQT collects, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

• Account information, such as name and email address.
• Baby care logs you create, such as feeding, sleep, diaper, notes, and baby profile information.
• Device and usage data, such as app version, device type, product interactions, purchase status, and crash data.
• If you join or share a baby profile, your name, email, and entries may be visible to authorized members of that profile.
• If you use AI Assistant, your message, selected baby profile ID, relevant baby care logs and summaries, and time zone offset may be processed to generate a response.

How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, secure, and improve MyQT.
• Authenticate accounts, sync data, restore purchases, and provide customer support.
• Generate AI Assistant responses when you choose to use that feature.
• Detect, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, technical issues, and security issues.

AI Assistant Data Sharing

When you agree in the app, MyQT sends your AI Assistant message, selected baby profile ID, relevant baby care logs and summaries, and time zone offset through MyQT's Firebase Cloud Function to OpenAI to generate an assistant response. The assistant is informational only and is not medical advice.

Sharing

• With your consent or direction, such as shared baby profile members.
• With service providers who help us operate MyQT and are required to protect the information.
• With OpenAI only when you choose to use AI Assistant and agree to the in-app disclosure.
• We require service providers that process personal data for us, including OpenAI, to protect that data with the same or equal protection required by this Privacy Policy.
• If required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.

Data Retention and Your Choices

You can access, edit, and delete entries in the app. You may request account deletion from the app. Some limited information may be retained where required for security, legal, billing, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Children's Data

Parents and guardians control the baby-related data they enter. MyQT is not intended for children to use directly.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
